Steak with Mushroom Sauce
  • 4 x Steak of your choice
  • 2 1/2 Cups of sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Sliced Onion
  • 3 teaspoons beef stock powder
  • 1 ½ Cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 3 level tablespoons cornflour
  • Olive Oil Spray

Spray the nonstick pan with the Olive Oil spray.

Cook the mushrooms and onion for 2 minutes.  Add brandy and red wine

And bring to the boil.  Add stock powder and 1 Cup of water.  Simmer for

5 minutes stirring occasionally.  Mix cornflour with ½ cup of water add to pan and bring to the boil stirring well.

Grill or barbeque the steaks and cover with the Mushroom sauce.
